The oral reserve Unified State Exam in a foreign language will be held on Thursday, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Federal Service for Supervision of Education and Science.

More than 80 thousand people will pass the exam on reserve days.

In 2015, the “Speaking” part was included in the Unified State Exam in foreign languages ​​for the first time. The graduate decides for himself whether to take the oral part, but this choice affects the receipt of the maximum mark for the exam.

The procedure for passing the oral part is automated; the exam takes place at a computer using an audio headset. For the oral examination, language laboratories with appropriate equipment can also be used.

In September, about 10 thousand people will pass the Unified State Exam, according to the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science. 

The exam will take place from September 3 to September 20. 

“We set the same serious requirements for the USE in September as for the main period: exams in additional terms must be held at a high organizational level, transparently and objectively,” said Sergei Kravtsov, head of Rosobrnadzor.

The first exam of the September period will be the USE in the Russian language, which will be held on September 3. About 2.2 thousand participants are planning to take it. On September 6, the USE in basic mathematics will be held, about 9.3 thousand people will take the exam. The additional period will end on September 20 with a reserve day, during which it will be possible to pass both Russian and basic mathematics.

To conduct exams, 153 examination points (PES) will be organized, including 2 PES on the basis of medical institutions and 7 PES at home. About 3.6 thousand organizers, about 400 technical specialists will be involved in the USE in September. More than 300 public observers will monitor the course of examinations. In almost all PES, online video surveillance, printing and scanning of examination materials in the PES will be organized.

Students who have not passed the state final certification after grade 11, or have received an unsatisfactory result in one or both compulsory subjects (Russian language and mathematics), have the right to take exams in September. Graduates of previous years and graduates who received a certificate of secondary general education in 2019, wishing to improve the previously obtained satisfactory results, are not allowed to participate in the USE in September.

“The Moscow Region schoolchildren have coped best with the tests in English – the average score is 75.2, in the Russian language – 72.4, literature – 66.2 and computer science – 63.7. One can see positive dynamics among graduates who passed specialized mathematics, physics, chemistry and history. The results in the rest of the subjects are comparable to last year’s, ”Zabralova said.

At the same time, only 0.13% of students did not overcome the minimum threshold in the Russian language, and 0.01% in basic mathematics.

The Federal Institute for Pedagogical Measurements has published draft documents defining the structure and content of control measuring materials (CMM) of the main state exam (OGE) in 2020, according to the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science.

It is noted that since 2011, Russian schools are gradually switching to work in accordance with the federal state educational standards (FSES) of basic general education. In 2020, ninth-graders will take the OGE, who from the 5th to the 9th grade studied on the basis of the Federal State Educational Standard, which led to the introduction of adjustments to the exam models of the OGE-2020. All examination models were prepared on the basis of the Federal State Educational Standard of basic general education, while ensuring the continuity of the subject content with the federal component of the state educational standard.

“In the KIM OGE 2020, part of the tasks that are well known to schools and available in the Open Bank of the OGE tasks have been preserved. At the same time, new tasks have been introduced, in which the emphasis is placed on checking the achievement of the learning outcomes provided by the Federal State Educational Standard. The practical nature of the tasks has been strengthened, new tasks have been introduced that test the ability to carry out information search, analyze information presented in different forms, apply knowledge to solve various cognitive, practical and communicative tasks, the ability of students to formulate and argue their opinions, and reason on certain topics. The updated KIM OGE implements some of the approaches adopted in international comparative studies to construct assignments in mathematics and subjects of the natural science cycle, ”the message says.

In 2020, the number of tasks in the work in the Russian language will be reduced from 15 to 9. Also, in the KIM OGE in mathematics, a new block of practice-oriented tasks is included (tasks 1-5). The structure of work in the OGE in social studies is changing: the division of tasks into parts based on the form of recording the answer is removed. Work assignments are now lined up based on the skill groups being tested. The total number of CMM jobs has been reduced from 31 to 24.

For the OGE-2020 in history, only one KIM model was proposed, corresponding to the linear system of studying history based on the Historical and Cultural Standard and a single textbook, new tasks for working with a historical map were introduced, the number of tasks based on visual sources of historical information was increased, a block of tasks was highlighted, those who test knowledge of the history of culture, the range of analytical tasks has been expanded.

An obligatory part of exams in physics and chemistry was to conduct a real experiment.

Published documents are the basis for the compilation of examination materials. They are published annually before the start of the academic year for expert discussion. With their help, future participants of the OGE and their teachers can get an idea of ​​what awaits them in the exams in the new academic year.

GIA-9 is conducted in the form of the Basic State Examination (OGE) and the State Final Exam (GVE). GVE is a form of final certification in the form of written and oral exams using texts, topics, assignments and tickets. The OGE is carried out for graduates of 9th grade using control measuring materials of a standardized form.

Graduates who have successfully passed the SIA are issued a certificate of basic general education.
